My First VSS – Juggernaut vs Power Girl

Juggernaut stomped down the street, splintering the asphalt with each step of his massive feet.  The giant sack of money from the bank robbery clenched in his fist.  NYPD cars and officers were batted aside like children’s dolls as he plodded along.  One brave, or perhaps foolhardy officer stood his ground in the middle of the street, emptying his service weapon at Juggernaut.  The bullets only ricocheted off of the massive supervillain.

Juggernaut snarled and grabbed the officer by the shirt.  “What are yah, stupid or something?” he growled.  “Maybe I need ta make an example out of you fer the rest of these clowns!”  So saying, he flung the officer with all his might, sending him flying off into the distance.

A moment later, the officer returned, carried in the arms of Power Girl.  Supergirl’s buxom adult version from Earth 2 put the officer down, then turned and scowled at Juggernaut.

“That’s about enough out of you.” Power Girl snarled defiantly.

Juggernaut laughed mockingly.  “Don’t you know who I am?” he challenged.  “I’m the Juggernaut, bitch!!”  Juggernaut charged at Power Girl in a full on run, his fist cocked back to strike.

Power Girl smirked as he charged.  “Hi, Juggernaut Bitch.” She replied as she punched him in the face.

The force of the blow knocked him backwards through 15 buildings before his unconscious form came to a stop on a pier along the East River.  Power Girl tossed the bag of stolen money she’d snatched away from Juggernaut as she hit him, to a nearby SWAT officer.  “He went that way,” she said, pointing before flying off still smirking.

That one done in honor of Superhero Saturday on Twitter.  It’s a scene I’ve been wanting to use ever since I saw X-Men 3, LOL.

Conan Era Story Published

I got a handful of likes on Twitter from a snippet of a Conan era story I wrote about a year or so ago.  Because of that, I decided to publish it here.  It’s only 2/3 done at this point, so I’ll need to finish it if it gets attention.

Playing the video game Conan: Exiles inspired this story.  Fair warning before anybody reads it also; the Hyborian age of Conan was 15,000 BC in the stories.  Thinking about bloodshed, violence and such were very different in that day and age.  ONLY read this story if you’re over 18 and can read it with that in mind.  The story is meant to be darkly realistic and NOT an endorsement of such behavior.

Conan – Tyche Defends Derketo’s Temple

Beyond that, there a few paragraphs that will serve as a quick primer for the story before the actual story itself…  The same place I usually put my disclaimers.

Witchfire Pt 8 Published

I finally got this one finished.  Krystal’s nearly losing her life to Count Ivanova on Halloween has major consequences when Hexanna blows off the near defeat.  Krystal’s up and down relationship with the She-Legion goes down again, and Amazing Babe reacts poorly to discovering Krystal’s true heritage.  In the middle of everything, the Aberration decides to tear up the town also.  Can anything be salvaged, and can Krystal continue to hold everything together on her own?

Witchfire, Pt 8 – Reinforcements

Hope everyone enjoys.

Witchfire Halloween RetCon Published

For those not familiar with it, RetCon is shorthand for ‘Retroactive Continuity’.  It’s a term that first came about in comic book circles.  They occur when the writers have mucked up a story so badly that they need to rewrite a chunk of existing history.  Sometimes they just happen when a writer  thinks they have a better idea to tell a story in a more modern way.  I’ll spare my opinion of most of those efforts.

Getting back on track, I had very limited information on Mister X’s character Hexanna when I wrote the first version of this story.  I tried to take some creative liberties and made her a character with a magic staff who didn’t actually believe in magic.  I thought it would be an interesting contradiction to explore.  Probably a bad idea to start with, and once I learned more about Hexanna’s character, I decided a re-write was in order.

Without getting preachy, I feel that if somebody writes fan fiction, they should keep it as true to form as possible to the work of the original author.  Ergo, I’m doing what I can to humanize and add some depth to the characters, but I do NOT want to change long established canon about them.  Nuff said. 🙂   Here’s the story:

Witchfire, Pt 7 – Halloween RetCon

As the name might suggest, the re-write also lets me fit the story more properly into the existing story line also.  Readers will have to suffer through an added sex scene too. 😉

Witchfire Pt 6 Finally Done!

Considering parts 5 & 6 were supposed to just be a more detailed account of the events that were summarized at the end of Chapter 4, they turned into a monster.  Chapter 6 is 16,712 words long, and has a few sex scenes, a few fight scenes, and A literal ton of plot and character advancement.

Witchfire Pt 6 – Revelations

Things should start falling together for readers, giving them a better idea of the shape of things in MY version of Delta City.  I’ve made a real effort to create a world with some depth and grit without going total emo melodrama.

As always, comments and feedback are welcome and encouraged. 🙂

And for those still not up on the characters, here’s Mister X’s heroines fact sheets page.

That specific page is fairly tame, but be warned that other parts of his site are solidly NSFW.

Witchfire Pt 5 Posted!

This took far longer than I anticipated, but chapter 5 is finally out.  This one is covering the events that were just skimmed over at the end of chapter 4.  I felt that was a sloppy wrap up and I wanted to do something more proper.  Chapter 6 will conclude that series of events and lead into the Halloween story I did.  THAT will hopefully be ready next week.  For now, enjoy chapter 5

Witchfire, Pt 5

Chapter 6 will have more fighting and sex.

Post Drama Update

First of all, I’m trying out the upcoming new editor for WordPress.  It has alot of nice features, BUT I really don’t like the layout.  Everything is off to the side, like the options for adding tags and such on posts.  Working with word processors as long as I have, I strongly prefer that format.  Beyond that, I think people will like it.  Seems to have almost as many options as MS Publisher.

Beyond that, I’m trying to get my focus back and have been slowly plugging along at writing again after dumping ProtonMail.  Enough said about them though.  I should thank them, the couple of rants on twitter got me quite a few views here.  No likes or followers though.  I hope my writing is better than that, LOL.

Air quality here has been utterly abominable; record level BAD, and that’s not helping my focus either.  Enough complaining though.  So what’s upcoming?

My current project is Witchfire part 5.  A large chunk of that will be the events that I just kind of did a quick recap on at the end of chapter 4.  It felt abrupt and poorly done there so I could finish on time.  After that, the Halloween story will be getting what’s called a “RetCon” in comic books; AKA Retroactive Continuity.  For all you NON geek and geekette writers; that translates out to “it’s getting re-written”.  My admittedly unusual idea for Hexanna didn’t mesh with existing stories when I found out that despite what’s posted about her, she CAN indeed cast spells without her staff.  So for the sake of consistency, I’m going to rework things.

Why Superheros and Superheroines?

A Twitter post by Ava Sterling, (link to her blog “What I Write” is to the right) who follows this blog and is an amazing erotica writer, inspired me to write this.

Much of the public today doesn’t understand the attraction that superheroes hold for others.  This is my attempt at explaining that, and why a good portion of this blog has stories focusing on them.

In the bigger picture, we live in a world where everything seems upside down and out of control.  Everything is exaggerated and distorted by special interests and the media.  This is on both sides of every issue in my opinion.  Real world heroes are human and have flaws which are exposed and they’re torn down.  People love their heroes though.  They want role models and to believe there are people out there who can make a difference.  Superheroes have taken the place of knights in shining armor in the eyes of some of the public.  Others gravitate towards Jason Bourne type characters, but the general pattern holds true.

Marvel movies are so popular because they give people heroes who stand up for their beliefs and go the distance to do what’s right.  Then there’s the fact that everything superheroes do is on a grandiose scale which makes for great modern special effects movies.  Sadly the comic companies themselves are losing money like mad on their actual books.  There are multiple reasons, but the biggest one is that they’ve just forgot their audiences and try to make the characters and world as muddied as the real world.

Metahumans can be just as three dimension and suited for grown ups as any characters though.  They simply need intelligent story telling.

On a personal level, I’m doing fan fiction so I don’t burn through story ideas for my own erotica of all flavors.  I need to improve a bit before I’m on Ava’s level (And thus ready to try getting published), and this is my personal training regimen.  Taking something like the objectified and stereotyped characters of Danger Babe Central and turning them into more three dimensional characters with unique personalities and motivations is a major exercise in creativity and writing also.  All the more so if I want to keep some of the exaggerated sexual vulnerabilities these characters have while making them human beings.

I’ll be the first to admit that the vast majority of fan fiction is complete drivel.  If I write a Star Wars story, it may not be on the level of Alan Dean Foster also.  I can promise you it’ll be better than a lot of blogged writing though.  So, if you’ve only read my “normal” stories, I hope you’ll give the other stuff a look also.

Witchfire Halloween Story Added!

What’s a sexy witch without a bit of gothic horror added to the erotica around Halloween, right?  Granted, I’d hoped to get this put out there earlier, BUT life got in the way.  Anyway, read and see how our favorite heroine peril witch handles dealing with an infamous and powerful vampire lord.

A Witchfire Halloween

This one works as a standalone, and has little in the way of traditional superhero stuff also.  It can be read as modern witch meets vampire and enjoyed on that level.

As always, constructive feedback appreciated. 😉

Witchfire Part 4 Posted

And a day and a half earlier than it will appear at DangerBabeCentral…

This long chapter (38 pages) brings Witchfire’s initial foray into the world of superheroes to a close.  Krystal and her ragtag group prepare to make their assault on Dragon Queen’s hidden base and rescue the She-Legion.  Whose side is Geek really on though, and how far will he go to achieve his objectives?  Who is the mysterious group backing Dragon Queen?

Most importantly, does Krystal have what it takes to be a heroine, especially when the time comes to make the tough choices?

Witchfire, Part 4

Addenda: As of this morning (Oct 31, 2018), I’ve gone through and proof read the story yet again, and cleaned up several typos and reworded a few things for better story flow and sentence structure.  I’ve also added a picture of the statue or figurine of the goddess Morrigan that inspired Witchfire’s costume.  It appears in the story immediately after Witchfire is given her costume.
